Poland: Aviva is funding grants for participants in the programme Tell Us Your Story on TVP2
08 September, 2010
Aviva is funding a grant of 10,000 PLN for a participant selected by committee for each episode of the series Tell Us Your Story, which will be broadcast from 6 September on Polish Television’s TVP2.
Tell Us Your Story is a socially engaged talk-show, broadcast four times a week from Monday to Thursday at 4.35pm. The first series will run for 48 episodes.
In each part, three people will talk about their experiences, difficulties, ideas about how to change their life, their passions and their community work. The committee will then choose the person who most deserves support.
The programme will be hosted by Małgorzata Kalicińska, author of House by the Lake. The grants will be awarded by a committee made up of: Michał Wiśniewski, musician and composer, Maria Rotkiel, psychologist and Aviva representatives.
"As an insurer we help people encounter difficulties, but we also help them realise their plans and dreams. We treat each client individually; each one is at the centre of our attention. We help most effectively those who want to help themselves, by taking out insurance. It is the same in the 'Tell Us Your Story'.
"I am convinced that the programme will allow many of the people who take part in the show – as well as viewers – to believe in themselves, start a new and better period in their lives and encourage them to help their communities," says Dominika Kraśko-Białek.
