Payment Options

Shareholders are able to receive their dividends in the following ways:

  • By cheque (Aviva will stop paying dividends by cheque from November 2017)
  • Directly into your nominated UK bank account
  • Directly into your nominated Euro bank account (available to ordinary shareholders from May 2017)
  • The Global Payment Service provided by our Registrar, Computershare. This enables shareholders living overseas to elect to receive their dividends or interest payments in a choice of over 65 international currencies.  For further details and information on the fees for this service please visit www.investorcentre.co.uk/faq and select the Dividends and Payments tab, followed by Global Payments Services

You must notify Computershare of your payment election. If we do not receive a payment instruction from you for the November 2017 dividend, we will hold your dividends for you. Once an instruction is received any unpaid dividends will be paid to you free of charge (subject to currency charges).
