Euan Munro
Chief Executive Officer, Aviva Investors and CEO Investments, Savings and Retirement
Euan is CEO of Aviva Investors and a member of the Aviva Leadership Team. Euan was appointed CEO of Aviva’s Investment, Savings & Retirement segment in November 2019. This includes the UK Savings & Retirement business and Aviva Investors where he continues as CEO, a position he has held since January 2014. He is also strategic adviser on our AIMS range of portfolios and chairs the Strategic Investment Group, a company-wide forum that approves the investment ideas that populate these funds. In January 2017 Euan joined the Board of the Investment Association.
Before moving in to executive leadership, Euan had built a strong track record in fixed income and multi-strategy investing. In May 2016 he was named “Innovator of the past 20 years” at the Financial News 20th Anniversary Awards for Excellence in European Finance.
Professional qualifications and memberships
Euan holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Physics and Electronics from the University of Edinburgh and a postgraduate diploma in Actuarial Sciences from Heriot-Watt University. He is also a Fellow of the Institute of Actuaries.
