Interim Chief People Officer
Caroline joined Aviva in 2016 as the Director of Leadership and Learning. In January 2017, she became the People Director for Global Digital and Asia and then in July 2018, was appointed Interim Chief People Officer for Aviva Plc.
Caroline is responsible for the leadership of Aviva’s global People and Culture strategy. She is passionate about driving business performance, building exceptional talent and using digital to deliver brilliant customer experiences.
Before joining Aviva, Caroline worked at the Financial Conduct Authority. Whilst at the FCA she devised the first MSc in Financial Regulation in partnership with Henley Business School.
Prior to that, she worked for the BBC in a number of roles including as People Director for London 2012 (Olympics), creating and leading the BBC 2012 people strategy. Her work contributed to the first digital Olympics. She was also a board member of the Olympic 2012 Social Legacy strategy (Department of Culture Media and Sport).
Caroline is currently a Director on the board of Aviva Vietnam.
