Maximize opportunities for involvement in our signature charity, ThinkFirst, for our employees and brokers Numerous employee volunteer and fundraising initiatives took place in branches across the country. Brokers were engaged at events through information booths and fundraising opportunities.
To continue to share information on Corporate Social Responsibilities with employees Numerous CSR articles posted to intranet, CSR presentation added to new hire orientation.
To develop and implement a Community Investment Program Dollars for Doers and Matching Dollars guidelines have been finalized and will be launched in 2008.

Aviva USA

Objectives Progress against objectives
Develop section on new public website, communicating goals and guidelines of Aviva Charitable Foundation Website section developed; smooth transition for grant requestors.
Receive, review, and recommend board action on grant requests made by not-for-profit organizations to the Foundation Request received and funded more than $1 million in grants and educational gift matches in 2007.
Continue to designate United Way as the single fundraiser used throughout the year, to increase employee satisfaction as they have option to designate their gift United Way retained as single organization employees were asked to consider supporting. Results continue strong: Aviva USA's participation rate was 33% greater than peer group of companies.
