Key achievements in 2006

We launched a core CSR theme Saglik, Egitim, Sevgi – SES (health, education, caring) in partnership with Aviva HE. The aim of this community project is to give care, education and health to needy children and their families. Under this project we covered costs of a summer education camp for 200 pre-school children.

We sponsored Istanbul Modern Art museum and also sponsored the first Toys Museum in Turkey.

As a joint project with Aviva HE we sponsored the renovation of a library at Istanbul University. The library, in the Insurance College of the university, offers around 5,000 books, periodicals and reports on such topics as the European Union, foreign trade, real estate and marketing. In addition, we sponsored the printing of two text books providing information on the basic principles of insurance and reinsurance for university students.
