
Key achievements in 2006
We recorded high participation rate (83%) in the annual employee global survey.
We launched Aviva Espanet, a company-wide intranet facility for all employees in December 2006. It includes a specific section on CSR, which contains quarterly environmental data reports, general recommendations on how employees can contribute to conserving the environment and a news area.
Significant progress was achieved in helping to introduce more flexibility in working days. For example, working long hours is now restricted to specific days. In addition, we hired ICAS, a company specialising in employee support programmes, to provide free, confidential advice to our employees on a range of personal and professional topics.
We achieved good results in our customer survey – achieving a 76% customer satisfaction rate.
We continued our successful solidarity initiative with UNICEF and the child vaccination programme. A contribution is made to UNICEF’s child vaccination health project for every customer who takes out a Solidarity Pension Plan, regardless of the size of their premium or transfer amount. The initiative follows the success of last year’s solidarity pension campaign, which resulted in more than 100,000 children being vaccinated.
