
Key achievements in 2006
We simplified our cost structure and reduced costs of life products, while also publishing more transparent life product literature on our website for customers.
We now offer a 15% discounted car insurance policy to owners of hybrid cars.
Since September 2006 all Dutch locations now use 100% renewables-sourced electricity. We also use renewables-sourced electricity in our head offices in Delta Lloyd Germany and ABM AMRO Insurance. In addition, we were recognised as a leader in our sector for achieving energy savings of 27% from 1996 to 2005 as part of the multi-year target under the MYA agreement.
All employees participated in commercial training programmes to enable the organisation to be even more customer-minded.
We conducted an employee satisfaction survey across the Delta Lloyd Group, which included our businesses in Germany and Belgium for the first time.
To help raise awareness of our core values, Delta Lloyd Life Belgium organised “values in action” workshops for all employees and implemented a “core values” sponsor group. The group is responsible for monitoring the embedding of our core values.
To help prevent stress in the workplace, we offered in-house company fitness and “movement” programmes, for example, initiated the Delta Lloyd running team, and “lunch” walking. We also developed stress training sessions, which are specifically tailored for Delta Lloyd Group.
