Business Overview
Delta Lloyd Group, operating under Delta Lloyd, OHRA and ABN AMRO Insurance brands, offers a broad range of products and services, varying from simple savings products to complex pension and insurance products and financial planning, through the customer's distribution channel of choice. In the Netherlands, Delta Lloyd works closely with independent insurance intermediaries. OHRA focuses directly on the personal and commercial customer, increasingly via the internet. ABN AMRO Insurance serves its customers through the extensive distribution network of ABN AMRO Bank. We are among the top five in life with an 11% market share.
Alongside its Dutch insurance operations, Delta Lloyd Group also has an asset management division and a banking division, as well as divisions in Germany and Belgium.
Delta Lloyd Group employs around 7,000 people in over 20 locations. Niek Hoek is the Group’s Chief Executive.
Managing CSR in our business
David Brilleslijper, Director of Corporate Communications, co-ordinates the CSR programme in Delta Lloyd Group and also manages the CSR co-ordinating committee. General Managers in the different business divisions are responsible for implementing CSR locally. Niek Hoek has overall responsibility for CSR.
The CSR co-ordinating committee comprises the directors or general managers who are responsible for the various CSR policy fields. The committee meets four times a year to discuss policy, implementation in the business divisions, relations with CSR at Aviva group level and action plans.
The Executive Board discusses the progress and implementation of CSR within Delta Lloyd Group at least twice a year.
