Business Overview

Aviva Italy consolidates several businesses, which include five life assurance and two general insurance companies and a holding company for all service activities to the business.

In 2006 we sold more than €3.7 billion of our products through our bancassurance partnerships and agent/broker channels.

Our head office is in Milan with two subsidiaries located in Florence and Rome. We employ over 550 people.

Managing CSR in our business

Our CSR programme is managed by our CEO, Cesare Brugola, who is supported by the CSR-nominated manager Carla Crespi, appointed in 2006.

In June 2006 we decided to shift the responsibility for CSR from the HR department to the Marketing department in order to develop both our internal and external CSR communications.

Our CEO and local senior managers communicate our CSR issues and activities with employees throughout the year.
