
Key achievements in 2006
We launched our first customer loyalty programme, which has helped to retain our current customer base as well as attract new customers.
To help increase contact frequency with our customers, we established a multimedia communication approach for our existing customers. This included a bi-monthly e-bulletin, MERCEK; a welcome letter sent with policy documentation and a text message is sent when the policy is activated.
We launched a core CSR theme: Saglik, Egitim, Sevgi SES (health, education, caring) for our community activities. We have engaged employees in activities to benefit the community in these areas. For example, we partnered with Aviva Sigorta and SHÇEK (Social Services and Child Protection Agency) to help fund and support education centres to provide basic education and materials for pupils in primary schools.
Together with Aviva Sigorta, we renovated a library in the Insurance College of Istanbul University. In addition, we co-sponsored the printing of two university class books about the basic principles of insurance and re-insurance.

As part of the SES programme, Aviva HE supported SHEK with an Early Childhood Development project. 200 children with special needs graduated from the two-month course which helped the pre-schoolers catch up with their peers.
