Key achievements in 2006
We launched a new intranet for employees. The intranet is in line with Aviva group templates. We publish CSR communications on the news site.
Our employees and direct sales force (DSF) continue to participate in our CSR projects. Results from the 2006 global employee survey showed that 100% of employees perceive the company as socially responsible.
To help in our quest to offer more investment opportunities for customers, two new investment funds – life insurance and pension fund – have been established.
We have also begun a socially orientated public relations campaign that is new and progressive in Lithuania.
Externally, we have participated in the legislation process of the professional pension funds law and have helped raise awareness of the importance of long-term savings.

Supporting cleaners' pay rises
When our cleaning company informed us of their price increases, we hesitated. But when they explained that the money would give cleaners a pay rise, we accepted the extra costs as it would support the local cleaning industry – and help us to hold on to the same team.
