Future Prosperity Panel
As part of the "You are the Big Picture" campaign, Aviva has brought together some of the world's leading thinkers from public policy, business and behavioural economics backgrounds to take part in a Future Prosperity Panel (FPP).
Recognising that trust in the financial sector has fallen in recent times and people are not preparing enough for the future, the aim of the FPP is to provoke renewed debate about safeguarding future prosperity and building the culture of sustainable saving.
The individual essays
The FPP has been developed in cooperation with the Economist Intelligence Unit (EIU), and was launched in October 2010, when the panel met in London. Since then panel members have developed a series of innovative ideas about how we could look to increase prosperity. Aviva is now publishing the panel's essays as part of a new report, Big picture thinking: towards sustainable savings.
The essays contain plenty of fresh thinking and a wide range of views, as well as agreement and disagreement. There needs to be a lively debate, with different perspectives, to find answers to the tough challenge of securing future prosperity.
We would like to hear your views, leave a comment on the individual pages of the thinkers below.
