Romania: Aviva, insurance company of the year at the UNSICAR Gala

The UNSICAR Awards Gala, which was established to award prizes to insurance companies which have stood out for the work that they have done throughout 2007, took place last night. Taking part in the festivities were brokers, others involved in brokering work and insurance consultancy, and last but not least representatives of insurance companies.
In a convivial atmosphere, awards were handed out to the best insurance companies of 2007.
Awards were made in six categories (personality of the year, life insurance, flexibility, fair play and quality of services, and administrator of voluntary pensions). The award for Life Insurance Provider of the year, for an insurance company which operates through brokers and has excelled in its work throughout the year, was given to Aviva Life Insurance - the third time in the last four years that the company has received this distinction.
The selections were made on the basis of voting by the 69 members of UNSICAR.
"We are delighted to see the esteem in which we are held by the UNSICAR membership. Given the thoroughness and professionalism that they have shown over and over again, this distinction comes as an honour to us and commits us to expanding our relationship with brokers in 2008. We are already aiming to develop other ways of collaborating with our traditional partners in this industry, but, in addition, we are also aiming to expand our links with other brokers," stated Shah Rouf, director general of Aviva Romania.
