Aviva Investors hires new head of credit flow trading

Aviva Investors has appointed Dinesh Pawar as head of flow trading for credit, responsible for trade flow and execution within the credit team’s investment grade and high yield activities.

Dinesh joins Aviva Investors from Deutsche Bank where he had been Market Risk Manager, Capital Markets Traded Credit Products. Previously he has also worked for a proprietary credit trading team and for a credit hedge fund where he was involved in long - short trading. He reports to Mark Wauton, head of credit, Aviva Investors.

Mark Wauton said: “Since the credit bubble we have viewed credit as a changed asset class and in this new era managers will need to implement new techniques such as active trading and long - short position taking to source sustainable levels of alpha. In this context, we are delighted to welcome Dinesh to this new role at Aviva Investors.
