South Korea: Seoul food
Date: 17 Apr 2009
Colleagues at Woori Aviva in South Korea recently celebrated the arrival of spring with a group of disabled children in Seoul. Amid a backdrop of beautiful cherry blossom in full bloom, they enjoyed lunch with children and helpers from the Sun Ga Won Orphanage.
It was a return visit to the orphanage for Aviva. During a previous outing, colleagues had served dinner and helped tidy up the building. This time around, the team was delighted to present a cheque for Krw2m (about £1,000) – half of which was raised through staff donations from their monthly salary.
