Charity partnerships

At Aviva we are committed to playing our part in the development of our communities. We focus our efforts on programmes to support education and financial capability and alleviate life trauma (ie preventing, or helping, people going through a distressing life event) which are in line with our "prosperity and peace of mind" corporate vision. You can read more about our community investment strategy. As a global company to deliver our strategy it is important to work with global partners as well as partners in the communities we operate.

These charity partners are:

Oxfam

Aviva joined the Oxfam 365 in 2006, an initiative developed by the international aid agency Oxfam GB, to fund its disaster relief operations.

Our funding supports the global rapid response team of aid workers and maintains the UK's biggest warehouse of emergency supplies. This ensures that Oxfam is able to access funds and emergency supplies immediately in the vital first few days of an emergency and also when the situation is no longer in the media spotlight but suffering continues.

Street to School

Aviva has made a global five year commitment to enable and encourage street children back into education and training. We're aiming to impact the lives of 500,000 street children and are committed to investing at least 50% of our global charitable giving budget to Street to School activities. To deliver this we are working with partners in our local communities and global charity partners. More information on Street to School and local charity partners.

Our global charity partners for Street to School are:
