RAC is proud and excited to be sponsoring a professional race team for the fourth season in the 2009 HiQ MSA British Touring Car Championship (BTCC).

Team RAC is managed on our behalf by West Surrey Racing, a leading motorsport engineering company with over 13 years experience running touring cars. Under the sponsorship deal we’ll be entering the championship with two RAC-branded, BMW 320si E90 cars.

The 2009 driver line-up for Team RAC is current Independent Driver Champion Colin Turkington and team-mate Stephen Jelley. This is Colin’s fourth year driving for Team RAC and he’ll be looking to build on his success in the 2008 season. This will be Stephen’s second year in BTCC, after moving from Formula 3.
