The Lancashire & Yorkshire Reversionary Interest Company Ltd
The Lancashire & Yorkshire Reversionary Interest Company was established in Manchester on May 3 1884 to purchase life interests and reversions. In 1921, it was acquired by the Yorkshire Insurance Company Ltd, which became a subsidiary of the General Accident Fire and Life Assurance Corporation Ltd in 1967.
