Ireland
We’re one of Ireland’s leading insurers, with businesses in general insurance, life and pensions and the health protection sector.
Combining with Alliend Irish Banks’ Ark Life in 2006 increased our long-term savings business significantly, and the acquisition of Vivas Health in 2008 strengthened our position in the market. We’ve around 1.2 million customers and employ around 2,100 staff in Dublin and across the country.
We can trace our history in Ireland back to 1816, when Norwich Union opened its first office in Dublin. Read more about our history.
